This course aims to equip employees of Travel Agencies selling or providing sales advice on Travel Insurance with the basic knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles and fundamentals of insurance, as well as product features, documentation and claim procedure for Travel Insurance. |

Important Note:
Candidates are to bring their hardcopy version of the online contents for their open-book on-site examination. SCI will not provide any hardcopy online content for candidate’s use during the open-book on-site examination.
Duration of the Course
3 months from the registration date. It is the candidate's responsibility to monitor that he or she does not exceed the 3-month window period from the registration date.
Access to Study Materials
Online e-learning access is available upon successful registration with payment.
How to Access Please follow the instructions below to access your online E-learning:
- Access through this website link: scicollege.instructure.com
- Use the same credentials to login as of your profile created at SCI website.
- The programme(s) which you had registered for would be displayed on your user dashboard.
CPD Hours
The SMART Certificate of Completion will only be issued only after meeting the following requirements:
- Completion of online learning and assessment; and
- Achieve at least 75% of the questions correctly for the course-end assessment on the online learning platform; and
- Successfully pass the on-site examination.
CPD hours awarded after meeting the above requirements:
- For CMI, you are entitled to 10 General Insurance CPD hours.
- For CTI/FDWI/FWI, you are entitled to 7 General Insurance CPD hours per COP.
The Smart Certificate will be sent to your email address registered with the SCI no later than 5 working days from the examination pass date, subject to you completing all the requirements.
